Frost
A white crust on the back wall or across the coil cover means damp air is getting in, or the defrost cycle has stopped clearing the coil. Mention it when you call, so the defrost parts come along.

No. SubZero Repair Denver repairs household Sub-Zero units: built-in and integrated freezers, refrigerator and freezer drawers, undercounter models. Reach-in and walk-in boxes belong to commercial refrigeration contractors, and we would rather tell you that on the phone at (720) 770-4189 than send the wrong person.

Put a thermometer in the middle of a drawer and read it the next morning. Five degrees or less is close to normal and may be a setting. Ten or more, or a number that climbs from day to day, means a part is failing, and the food is the first cost.
My Sub-Zero is under warranty. Who do I call?
Sub-Zero first. Warranty repairs are booked with the maker’s own network of technicians, and this company is independent of it, so a claim cannot start with us. Once the coverage has lapsed, or for a fault the warranty excludes, ring us and we take the job ourselves.
